What is the dumpster rental process?
The dumpster rental process is actually pretty simple. First you call the dumpster rental company and let them know where and when you would like your dumpster delivered.The driver then delivers the dumpster on the date you ordered. You then fill the dumpster with debris and other items from your location, home, or job-site. When you are finished with your dumpster, call the office to let them know you are ready for the dumpster to be removed.

Will a Dumpster Damage My Driveway / Yard?
We do our best to carefully deliver and pick up these dumpsters, but they are, of course, very heavy. If you are worried about a specific area of your property where the dumpster will be dropped, we suggest laying down a large piece of plywood. Haul’n Off is not responsible for any damages to the surface where a dumpster may be located, but we will do our best to accommodate all your needs.
How long can I have the dumpster?
Our dumpsters are available to rent anywhere between 1 and 7 days. After 7 days, there is an additional charge per day. If you plan to use a dumpster for an extended period of time or you need to fill up and empty a dumpster several times during a project, just let us know. We’re happy to set up a cost-effective solution.
How fast can I get my dumpster?
We can usually deliver a dumpster with less than 24 hours notice. When ordering a dumpster during the busy construction season, please plan on delivery times to be within 1-2 days.
What can I put in my dumpster?
Garbage, Household waste, remodelling project waste, flood debris, etc. are acceptable waste in our temporary project dumpsters. Televisions, computers, tires, hazardous waste, special waste, and wet/lead based paint are NOT allowed in any dumpster.
How and when do I pay?
To rent our dumpsters we require a payment upfront or before you receive our dumpsters. We accept all major forms of payment including check, cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Do I have to be there when my dumpster is dropped off?
A question frequently asked by our customers is if they have to be there at dumpster delivery. If you pay over the phone, there is not a need to be present for delivery. Please have the area cleared and ready to be placed if you intend to not be there. If you are paying our driver directly with cash or check, please be there on the day of the arrival to receive the dumpster. Have the area of placement already cleared and prepared before our drivers arrive at the site.
How far in advance do I need to order my dumpster?
One day notice is always preferred but in most cases, we can deliver the dumpster the same day. We understand how important a dumpster can be to keeping a project on schedule. Give us a call at 267-214-9898 to check availability.
How high can I load the dumpster?
Each dumpster has the load level marked. Do not exceed the sides of the dumpster. Overloading the dumpster creates a safety hazard on the road.
How long can I keep my dumpster?
Each dumpster comes with a generous rental period. If you’d like to extend your rental period a fee may be assessed for additional days.
When does the dumpster get picked up?
We make every effort to ensure prompt service. When your dumpster is ready, call or email us at service [email protected] and we’ll have your dumpster removed within 48 hrs.
Can I put the roll off dumpster on the street?
Please check with your local municipality. Permits are often required for dumpsters.

What if my dumpster is full and I need another dumpster?
Please call us at 267-214-9898 if you need your dumpster emptied and returned to you. There will be a repeat charge equal to the amount paid for your previous dumpster.
What is the best way to load my dumpster?
It’s best to load a dumpster as evenly as possible. This will allow you to fit more debris inside and help to ensure you don’t overload the dumpster. It’s also important to make sure that no items hang over the side or stick up over the top of the container, since this can make it dangerous for the hauler to pick up the dumpster. Please note that you may be charged an additional fee if your container is overfilled.
What Is The Limit For What I Can Put In The Dumpster?
Materials should not be placed above or protruding past the load level label found on all containers.
How do you pay for an ongoing dumpster service?
Bills for commercial front-load dumpsters are sent out once a month. You’ll get a bill every month, and the date listed is when your credit card payment will be processed.
What If The Dumpster Causes Damage?
Getting a dumpster is at your own risk. Please understand the dumpsters and trucks are very heavy, so it is possible it could cause damage to where you are putting it. We put wood under the can when placed on the driveway. This almost always protects the driveway, but we do not take responsibility for any damage.
What If It Rains?
All of the excess water will be drained out when the dumpster is picked up and put on the truck. Yes, it could affect the weight if there are things that soak up water. There is nothing we can do about this. We too get charged for that water weight. If you are very worried about it, we suggest you put a tarp tightly over it to keep water out.
Why Do I Get Charged For Overweight?
We take the dumpsters to transfer stations who charge us based on the weight of the dumpster. We include a certain amount of weight in the price you pay for the dumpster. However, if it does go over the weight limit you are charged for the additional weight.
What happens if my dumpster is overfilled?
If the dumpster is too full we will not pick it up and you will be charged a trip charge. In some cases, if it is a matter of just an item or two unsafely thrown on top. The driver will take those off and leave them on property.

How much will it cost to rent a dumpster?
This depends on the company, but most will charge fees for pick-up, drop-off, fuel surcharge, tonnage, and rental per day. Depending on your situation, there may be other fees as well. Make sure to talk to the company ahead of time about your needs.
What kind of debris do you dispose of?
We specialise in working with most types of home improvement, demolition and cleanout projects, but there are some items we simply don’t have the resources to dispose of per EPA guidelines.
How long can I keep my dumpster rental?
All of our dumpsters come with a 14 day rental agreement; however, we understand that sometimes projects take longer than expected.
What goes in the dumpster?
Our company accepts all types of waste debris that are classified as household, construction and concrete debris. Dirt or soil, stump and brushes are also allowed. However, keep in mind that hazardous waste such as harmful chemicals, battery liquids, asbestos, solvents and any harmful wastes are forbidden. In the event that you need to get rid of these types of wastes, consult your local county office and they will be able to provide you with a list of accredited companies who can safely handle and dispose of hazardous chemicals.

How much does a dumpster cost?
The cost of a dumpster is made up of several factors: the size of the dumpster, the weight of the debris, the length of the rental period and local taxes and fees. This means that the exact price of a dumpster varies according to location and the specifics of your order. No matter where you’re located or how much you’re disposing of, we offer simple flat-rate pricing on all of our dumpster sizes, so you’ll always know the full price up front. Also, keep in mind that each dumpster has a weight limit. These limits allow for a lot of weight but if you should go above the limit, there is an extra charge.

How do I order a dumpster for a short time?
To rent a roll-off dumpster for a short time, you can call or get an instant quote online. If you ask for a quote when we’re not open, we’ll get back to you quickly the next business day.
Can I request a specific delivery time?
Because our drivers may experience delays at the landfill, at previous customers’ properties or due to traffic conditions, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time. Your dumpster will arrive anytime between 6 a.m.- 6 p.m. on your delivery date. We will take requests for delivery times but cannot guarantee that the driver will be able to meet them.
Do you offer discounts on dumpster rentals?
We offer regular deals for our dumpster rentals.
When will my dumpster be delivered?
Our deliveries generally take place between 6 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, but this can vary based on the current schedule and availability. Please contact the team member who set up your order if you have any additional questions regarding your delivery. Dumpsters can be delivered on Saturday and Sunday for an extra charge.
Can I throw old tires in the dumpster?
NO! It’s an environmental hazard as well as illegal. Additional fee and fines will be assessed.
How big are rental dumpsters?
Rental dumpster dimensions are always measured in cubic yards (most rental companies just say “yards”). Typical sizes include 1,10, 20, 30, and 40 yard dumpsters. Dumpster rental companies – including Philadelphia Dumpster Rental Bros – offer a varying combination of dumpster sizes to meet the unique needs of any project.
How do I pay for my dumpster?
Payment is taken over the phone. We accept MasterCard or Visa. Your credit card will be charged no sooner than the day before your delivery date. We do not accept checks. You can cancel your order at any time. We prefer that you give us at least 24 hours notice. There is no cancellation fee as long as you cancel prior to us setting the dumpster. We will refund your card.
How is my order confirmed?
Once your dumpster order is placed, we will call you promptly during regular business hours to confirm your order and gather your credit card information. We will then email you our rental agreement that confirms your price, agreed upon delivery time (you do not need to be home for delivery or pick-up) and our rules and regulations.
